Ask a question:

Is it ok to use External Link Redirection or a Link Cloaking Plugin on my blog?

Solution

One of the main publishing policies of the Content Facilitator is that content submitters links (included within articles) cannot be modified in ANYWAY. This is how the content creators offset their expense and time in creating and providing you, as the publisher, with valuable content. This is an exchange for mutual benefit.

This INCLUDES (but is not limited to) using plugins that automatically cloak, or redirect links, contained within the articles. We really don't care if you use such a plugin for the rest of the content on your website BUT WE DO CARE if that plugin impacts our content submitters and authors content.

This is a violation of our primary publishing policy and WHEN YOU ARE caught by our monitoring processes you WILL BE BANNED from the network.

If you are banned from the network, all your credits become forfeit (earned and/or paid) AND ALL CONTENT YOU HAVE PERSONALLY HAD PUBLISHED ON OTHER MEMBERS BLOGS IN THE NETWORK - SINCE YOU HAVE BEEN A MEMBER - WILL ALSO AUTOMATICALLY BE REMOVED.

It is your responsibility to ensure content remains as is when published on your blog - including external links. Also keep in mind that anytime you publish an article, the writer of that article is notified and will check your blog to see the end result so there really is no way around this one.
